Dr Martin graduated from Cambridge University prior to completing his medical studies at Oxford University. Following this he undertook an internal medical rotation at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital in London before completing anaesthesia training through the Imperial School of Anaesthesia. He completed his Intensive Care specialist training in large university hospitals in London, Australia and Canada. He has also worked in pre-hospital care and holds a Diploma in retrieval and transfer medicine.

Works as a General Practitioner at Snaith and Rawcliffe Medical Group.
